Clinical Director (LISWS) – Behavioral Health | Toledo & Dayton, OHWe are partnering with a well-established behavioral health and residential services organization in Toledo, Ohio to find an experienced and dynamic Clinical Director to join their leadership team. This is a senior leadership role for a clinician who is ready to step into a position of meaningful impact — overseeing all clinical service delivery, building programs, and mentoring staff across multiple locations including Dayton.Position DetailsSetting: Behavioral Health / Residential Services — outpatient and residential programsPatient Population: Adults and youth — behavioral health, mental health, and residential servicesSchedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, typically 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (additional hours may be required)Locations: Toledo, OH (primary) + Dayton, OHCompensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experienceStart Date: ASAPAbout the RoleAs Clinical Director, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for inspiring and leading clinical staff while creating opportunities for growth and excellence within the agency. Working under the supervision of the CEO, you will manage all daily activities of clinical service delivery in alignment with the organization's vision and values. This is an exempt, administrative-level position offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to shape the future of a growing behavioral health organization.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain 10 billable hours per week while managing full clinical operationsProvide clinical oversight and leadership across all service and program areas, including the Dayton officeReview diagnostic assessments and ensure evidence-based practices and outcomes measurement are implemented across all programsEstablish and monitor goals for program growth, treatment efficacy, and quality of careProvide and document individual and group clinical supervision to all direct service staffOversee year-round programming that addresses client needs and meets all applicable State mandated requirementsManage hiring, evaluation, and terminations of clinical staff in consultation with Human ResourcesConduct annual and introductory performance evaluations for direct reporting employees and contractorsDevelop proposed objectives, staffing patterns, and budgets for clinical services in conjunction with the management teamIdentify and address problems and opportunities including community outreach as neededCollaborate with management and meet with supervisor weekly to review goals, objectives, and emerging issuesEnsure all treatment decisions are made in the best interest of the clientSupport program development and growth opportunities across the organizationAttend all mandatory staff meetingsRequirementsMaster's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or Counseling — requiredIndependent, supervisory behavioral health license (LISWS or equivalent) — requiredDemonstrated experience in clinical management — requiredKnowledge of grant writing processes, protocols, and opportunitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively recruit, supervise, and develop staff members and volunteersDemonstrated knowledge of community resources and partnershipsStrong organizational, management, and multitasking skillsAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgment in significant mattersAbility to work independently and as part of a leadership teamWhy Apply Through Us?This role is being placed exclusively through Welltech Partners.
