Full-time Sleep Medicine Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

An established sleep medicine practice in Austin, TX is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. This would be a full-time position with either a 4 or 5 day work week (32 or 40 hours). Monday-Friday schedule, NO weekend requirements. ONE day per week will be from home (telehealth). Ideal candidates will have at least 1-2 years of sleep medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside a board certified physician and team of APPs in clinic

• Common diagnoses include sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, snoring, night terrors, etc.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations, including vital signs and medical history

• Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary

• Document all patient interactions accurately

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of sleep medicine

• Texas State License

• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills

• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems

• Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on enhancing the overall well-being of individuals
