The National Ramah Commission (NRC) creates and sustains excellent summer camps and Israel programs that inspire commitment to Jewish life and help develop the next generation of Jewish leaders. We support our network of overnight and day camps by creating leadership development opportunities for summer staff, coordinating meaningful alumni events, distributing grant and scholarship funds, and providing professional development for year-round Ramah employees. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is an entry-level professional responsible for supporting NRC's marketing, communications, and digital engagement efforts. This role combines creative content development, graphic design, video production, social media management, and storytelling. Although this is intended to be a hybrid position, with two days per week in person at National Ramah's NYC-based office in Morningside Heights, we will consider candidates for fully remote work. The Marketing and Communications Coordinator is supervised by NRC's Director of Communications and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design digital and print marketing materials, including social media graphics, email banners, presentations, and event materials.
• Maintain brand consistency across all communications and marketing assets.
• Plan, film, edit, and publish video content for social media and email communications.
• Edit footage, add graphics, captions, music, and other multimedia elements.
• Create engaging content, combining graphics, videos, stories, reels, and written posts.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar across social media platforms, with emphasis on sharing content from across the Ramah Camping Movement.
• Monitor social media channels and assist with community engagement.
• Create Constant Contact emails.
• Support website updates and content management.
• Maintain digital asset libraries and marketing materials.
• Participate in brainstorming and strategy meetings.

Qualifications and Key Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in marketing, communications, graphic design, media production, or a related field.
• Experience creating content for social media platforms.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva.
• Basic video editing experience using software such as CapCut, iMovie, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of analytics tools including Google Analytics and social media insights.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to complete work with meticulous attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Alignment with the core values of the Ramah Camping Movement, including fostering a connection to the land and people of Israel.

Salary: $50,000-$60,000 annually
