Job Title: OE Test Controller Location: Arnold AFB TN Function/Branch: O & M/Flight (PWT Plant) Directorate: Test Ops Position Type: Regular Full-Time Pay Type: Wage Grade: A24 Salary Range: $40.37 - $44.86 Job Posting closes on June 23, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST Overview Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an OE Test Controller, supporting TOS II, at Arnold AFB Tennessee. The selected candidate will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating and maintaining or supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts. Open to internal and external candidates. The selected candidate for this requisition must be available to work any shift and shift determination will be made based on the priority of work at the time the selected candidate is cleared to report to work. Job Summary The successful candidate will under general supervision perform technical, mechanical, electrical, and manual work in the testing, operating, and/or assembly and shop areas of an engineering test facility; prepare plant equipment for operations; troubleshoot equipment in case of malfunctions; operate plant equipment during tests. Pursue and obtain all qualifications as assigned and demonstrate satisfactory progress as measured by two quarterly process assessments based on syllabus completion, body of knowledge testing and tunnel conditions OJT as a PES Main Operator, PES Operator, PWT Plant Rover, 16S Pump Room Monitor, Forklift Operator, Scissor Lift and Boom Lift Operator, Pendant Overhead Crane, start/stop and configure systems (motor/compressor, valves, refrigeration, heaters, driers, coolers) as required. Job Duties Required to complete and become qualified/certified in the following QUAL3003 – 16T Tunnel Operator QUAL3006 – PES Operator QUAL3007 – PES Main Operator QUAL3008 – PWT Plant Rover QUAL3009 – 4T Tunnel Operator QUAL3032 – 16S Pump Room Monitor QUAL7702 – Forklift Operator QUAL7704 – Scissor Lift and Boom Lift Operator QUAL7707 – Pendant Overhead Crane Monitor systems health Initiate appropriate response to alarms/trips Coordinate and communicate operations with others as necessary Coordinate with Test/Plant Control Room Operation Engineers, Supervision, Engineering Support and Base Utilities Direct and perform a wide variety of technical, mechanical, electrical, and manual work in the Control Room, Testing, Operating, and/or assembly and shop areas of an Engineering Test Facility Checks out and prepares Plant and Test Facility equipment for operations Prepares and installs test articles Removes test articles after tests Installs and maintains facility systems, operates test facility, plant equipment, and test article equipment during tests Accomplish maintenance and servicing work as required to place and keep such equipment in operation Checks test articles and installation prior to tests, and assists in tests Operates complex testing equipment, and troubleshoots operating equipment or test articles, and installation in case of malfunction, with a high degree of skill Use a wide variety of hand and machine tools, powered equipment, complex measuring and test equipment as required to accomplish the operations Train, instruct, and direct other craftsmen(s) It is a condition of employment to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy Perform other duties as required Basic Qualifications Educational Equivalent: Must possess High School Diploma or equivalent Specific Knowledge or Experience: Four years of experience as an Operating Engineer Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance and the AEDC local area network Current U. S.
