Pipe Layer Department: Operations Employment Type: Full Time Location: Sherrills Ford, NC (Marshall CT) Reporting To: Anthony Morris Description A Pipe Layer installs and repairs underground utility piping systems, including water, sewer, and storm drain lines. This position works closely with equipment operators, foremen, and laborers to ensure pipes are installed safely and at the correct grade, elevation, and alignment. Key Responsibilities Install underground pipes. Install water, sewer, and storm drain systems. Keep pipes at the correct grade and level. Prepare trenches and bedding for pipes. Connect and seal pipes and fittings. Use lasers and levels to keep pipes lined up. Check pipes and fittings for damage. Communicate with equipment operators and crew members. Follow trench and jobsite safety rules. Understand shoring, trench access, and OSHA safety requirements.
