## Position: HR Specialist

**Employment Type:** Full-Time

## Job Summary

The HR Specialist will manage day-to-day human resources operations, including onboarding, employee records, payroll coordination, benefits administration, compliance, and employee support. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Gusto or similar Human Resource Management (HRM) software platforms.

## Key Responsibilities

* Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
* Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
* Support payroll processing and benefits administration
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company HR policies
* Assist with recruitment, interview scheduling, and hiring coordination
* Respond to employee HR-related questions and provide support
* Track PTO, attendance, and employee updates within HR systems
* Generate HR reports and maintain data accuracy
* Help improve HR workflows and internal processes

## Qualifications

* Previous experience in Human Resources or HR Administration
* Experience using Gusto or similar HRM/payroll software (ADP, BambooHR, Paychex, Rippling, etc.)
* Strong understanding of HR processes and employment compliance
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
* Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred

## Preferred Skills

* Pediatric or healthcare industry experience is a plus
* Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
* Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
