Senior Testing AnalystThe Senior Testing Analyst will handle complex tasks and lead testing strategy for business systems. The position requires independent work to document business requirements, develop test strategies, and execute test plans. Responsibilities include adherence to the SDLC and producing project deliverables as needed.Primary Success FactorsDevelop and maintain testing strategy for the Bank based on industry standard Quality Assurance best practicesLeads the initiative to expand and transform Quality Assurance processes based on the testing strategyDesigns and executes detailed test plans and test cases to verify that the software meets requirements; identify problems and defects that should be corrected prior to implementation; ensure that the system delivers the required specifications; verify that the system responds in an acceptable manner within the Bank's network environment; perform regression testing to verify that all pre-existing code still works properly; utilize testing tools as necessary for defect tracking, automated testing, and simulated load testingCoordinate with the infrastructure team to manage test environments and configurationsParticipates as the members of scrum product teamsCreates and provide input to project plans as they pertain to testing requirementsLeads facilitated meetings with product teams and subject matter experts and ensure output is documentedEnsures preparation of testing documentation as requiredProvide expertise on the tools for automation required for testingAdhere to practices that maintain traceability from User stories to defects and resolutionsEnsure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure safe and sound business operationsWorks with project manager / program manager to help them in effort and cost estimation activity, project scheduling and planning and identifying risks and issues with project and suggesting mitigation alternatives.Coach and inspire others into adopting a test-driven mindsetEnsure that test conditions and test scripts are created and validated for user acceptance testingSupports user acceptance testingWhen performing business analyst functions ensure that the system requirements or user stories and acceptance criteria are planned for, elicited, analyzed, validated, documented and reviewed.Conducts tests utilizing AI tools and technologies.Required ExperienceBachelor's degree in information systems / business administration or equivalent work experience; Master's degree preferredSeven or more years of experience in information systems, with an emphasis on the requirements of life cycle, development, and testingSeven or more years of experience leading testing effortsKnowledge of requirements analysis techniquesStrong analytical and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of current best practices, methodologies, standards, and approaches to testingExcellent communication skills, both written and oralTechnology Competency:Automated test scripting utilizing tools such as SeleniumAI and API based testing is a plusPerform vulnerability testing utilizing tools such as QualysDefect tracking software utilizing tools such as VersionOneSimulated load testing utilizing tools such as JMeterExperience with incorporating testing efforts with DevSecOps pipelinePractical experience in Agile SDLC conceptsMS Office expertiseFamiliarity with the following:SAFe conceptsContinuous Integration tools such as GitActionsOracle Database and PLSQL objectsGitHub and ability to execute deployment scriptsTechniques Competency:Use case description and modeling, or "story" descriptionsConversion of use cases to test scriptsRequirements management and traceabilityData analysisManual test case executionAutomated test case executionRegression testingIt is the policy of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh to ensure equal employment opportunity (EEO) for all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, religion, color, sex, national origin, age, disability status, genetic information, veteran's status, ancestry, sexual orientation or status as a parent as defined by applicable law.
