Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a night shift position, offering 3x12-hour shifts per week for a 13-week assignment. This role includes working on weekends and holidays, demonstrating a commitment to patient care during critical hours.

Unit Information

  • Experience in Step Down or Telemetry is preferred.
  • ICU experience is considered an asset.
  • Patient-to-nurse ratios:

    • Medical-Surgical: 1 nurse to 4-6 patients
    • Step Down Unit (SCU): 1 nurse to a maximum of 4 patients (typically 2-3 patients)
Certifications Required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Scheduling

Block scheduling is available, with a possibility for weekends only if this aligns with the right candidate's preferences.
