Overview Mortgage Administrator – Romford, RM1 Our client a well organised, forward thinking mortgage brokerage is looking for a Mortgage Administrator based in Romford, RM1. Our client believes in clear processes and strong communication, and a team that takes ownership of what they do. Everyone knows their role, understands the standards expected, and works together to keep things running smoothly. The successful candidate will be organised, reliable, takes pride in doing things properly, have excellent level of attention to detail, obtain a solid can-do attitude and proactive approach. Responsibilities Manage mortgage applications from submission through to completion Deliver excellent customer service via phone and email Liaise with brokers, lenders, solicitors, estate agents and third parties to progress cases Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete and processed within required timescales Maintain strong working relationships with assigned brokers Accurately input and manage client data on internal systems Review mortgage offers for accuracy against point of sale systems Process mortgage protection cases, including liaising with clients, providers and medical professionals Maintain accurate and compliant case notes at all times Adhere to company procedures and FCA regulatory requirements Qualifications / Skills Minimum 2+ years experience in mortgage administration Strong knowledge of the mortgage process and lender requirements Excellent organisational and time management skills Close attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to manage a busy pipeline and work under pressure Hours and Salary Hours: Monday to Thursday - 9am to 5:30pm; Friday - 9am to 5pm Salary: between £28,000 - £30,000 basic + bonus; OTE around £33,000 to £35,000 Company Benefits Company Performance Related Bonus Rewards & Recognition bonus Company Pension If this role is of interest to you and you have the necessary role requirements, please submit your most up to date CV and contact details to Louise Foster at Roundpegs Property Recruitment today.
