Customer Relationship Manager Location: South/ South Central Minnesota (Field-Based) Position Type: Full-Time (40-45 hours/week | Monday - Friday) Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 / year (Dependent on Experience) Preferred Residence: Ideal candidate lives in or near the Northfield, Faribault, or Owatonna area Job Overview We are seeking a proactive, client-focused Customer Relationship Manager to build, maintain, and grow strong long-term relationships across our regional accounts. In this mobile, field-based role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, driving customer satisfaction, resolving service inquiries, and identifying account expansion opportunities during regular site visits. Account Growth: Identify upselling, cross-selling, and service expansion opportunities within existing accounts; assist with contract renewals as needed. Issue Resolution & Support: Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal operational teams (including route service personnel) to deliver fast, effective solutions. Proactive Communication: Inform clients of new product offerings, service enhancements, and upgrades; gather feedback to drive internal service improvements. Activity Tracking: Maintain daily logs of client interactions, field visits, schedules, and account leads using Microsoft Office and internal CRM tools. Skills: Preferred Location: Ideally based in or near Northfield, Faribault, or Owatonna, MN for optimal route planning and commute efficiency. Education: High School Experience: 1-4 years Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in territory account management, field sales, or advanced B2B client management. Ability to cover key client locations across South Central and southeastern MN, including Gaylord, Waseca, Albert Lea, Dodge Center, Hastings, Red Wing, and Lakeville. Willingness and ability to spend 70%???80% of working hours in the field conducting site visits. Must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook; comfortable learning and logging activity in CRM software. Ability to sit, stand, walk facility sites, step, climb, bend, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 lbs as required during site visits.
