Patient Financial Navigator

To support patient financial clarity, the part-time hourly Patient Financial Navigator will manage patient records, educate patients on financial responsibilities, and assist with billing inquiries while working Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, transitioning to remote work after initial training. Key responsibilities Ensure accurate patient records, including demographics and insurance coverage Provide financial education to patients regarding out-of-pocket expenses and payment options Communicate effectively with patients, payors, and other departments regarding financial inquiries and authorizations Required qualifications Associate's Degree with one year of customer service experience, or High School Diploma with two years in a call center or healthcare setting Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft software and solid computer skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in patient financial matters
