Provide patient care, support the admissions and discharge process, and comply with patient safety practices under the direction of the professional nurse. Observe patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report any change to the nursing.EducationCertification/LicensureMust have a HS Diploma and one of the following:Sentara Care Partner Certification ProgramSuccessful completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)National Patient Care Technician (NCPCT), completion of US Navy Hospital Corps School, Emergency Services to include EMR, EMS, EMT, AEMT and ParamedicCurrent student enrolled in a clinical program having completed at least one semester of a (RN, LPN, RT or PT)Current work experience within last three years as a PCT or Nursing Assistant.We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.93 - $27.41 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
