CDL A and B DriversWe're looking for experienced, professional drivers that will share our commitment to our people, partners and planet. Traveling to locations on your assigned route, you will be responsible for packing, transporting and properly disposing of waste material in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures.Primary Responsibilities: CDL APick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Label containers and complete pre-printed manifests / work orders. Schedule shipments into or off site.Pickup and drop off loaded and empty roll off boxes using a tractor trailerPerform End Dump work as neededPerform van trailer work as neededPerform Tanker work as neededPerforms warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of waste materials. Loads, unloads, moves, or stores items according to delivery or routing documents, or supervisor instructions and performing general housekeeping duties.Operates a hand truck, forklift, or other heavy equipment.Performs various regulatory compliance and safety tasks including, but not limited to: Pre-trip inspections of vehicle, report all losses, spills, accidents, and safety violations to supervisor immediately. and resolve leaking containers/containers in non-DOT shippable condition.Contacts (Internal/External): Ongoing contact with all levels of Customers on a daily basis in delivering, promoting, and collecting waste containers. Regular contact with many different levels of personnel.Perform any other administrative duties assigned by managementPrimary Responsibilities (Essential Functions): CDL BPick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Label containers and complete pre-printed manifests / work orders. Schedule shipments into or off site.Classify, segregate, and inventory waste containers in storage for shipment. Conducts lab pack operations. Pack small laboratory containers of chemical waste into larger containers for shipment.Process and prepare Universal Hazardous Waste manifests, bills of lading and Land Disposal Restrictions (LDRs) for hazardous waste shipment according to state, EPA and DOT regulations.Provide services related to hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal from customer sites.Performs various regulatory compliance and safety tasks including, but not limited to: Pre-trip inspections of vehicle, report all losses, spills, accidents, and safety violations to supervisor immediately and resolve leaking containers/containers in non-DOngoing contact with all levels of Customers on a daily basis in delivering, promoting, and collecting waste containers. Regular contact with many different levels of personnel.Performs warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of waste materials. Loads, unloads, moves, or stores items according to delivery or routing documents, or supervisor instructions and performing general housekeepingOperates a hand truck, forklift, or other heavy equipment.Occasional overnights requiredPerform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.QualificationsBasic Qualifications: CDL AHigh School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) requiredPossess a Valid Class A Commercial Driver's LicenseBy law, you must be at least 21 years of ageHazmat Endorsement2+ years of similar driving experienceMust be able to drive a Manual Transmission (no restrictions)Preferred Qualifications:Tanker and Airbrake Endorsements (If you do not have either endorsement you will be expected to obtain them at company's expense as a condition of employment)The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT physical, drug test and DEA background check.Basic Qualifications: CDL BCDL Class BHazMat EndorsementTanker EndorsementValid Driver LicensePreferred Qualifications:Strong working knowledge of Environmental/Regulatory/DOT rules and regulations.Some College or waste industry experienceHigh School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) requiredKnowledge of computer software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Maintains a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC)Additional InformationPay Rate: $28-$32/hr.Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package includes paid time off policies, as well as health, dental, vision, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteering and more.
