Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Disclosure Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering accurate loan disclosures to our clients. Working with up to 20 different lenders, you will need to ensure that all disclosures comply with applicable laws and regulations and reflect the correct terms of the loan.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and distribute initial loan disclosures and re-disclosures as required.
- Collaborate closely with loan officers and processors to obtain the necessary information for accurate and timely disclosures.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of lender requirements and federal and state regulations pertaining to loan disclosures.
- Ensure that all disclosures are completed within mandated timelines.
- Monitor changes in legislation and lender requirements that may affect disclosure procedures.
- Provide support to loan processing team and assist with resolving any issues related to disclosures.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is stored securely and in compliance with privacy standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in loan processing or disclosure management is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with loan origination software and tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to anticipate needs and issues before they arise.
