Software Engineer

The Role As one of the foundational members of our Engineering team, you will architect and develop systems for our fast-growing fleet of production robots. We are pragmatic. We value high agency. Working directly with our founding team, this role is based onsite at our San Francisco headquarters. What You’ll Do Architect, build and maintain highly-available, robust distributed systems Design, implement, test, and debug code across the software stack Collaborate with ML Engineers to develop blazingly fast online RL systems at scale What You'll Bring 4+ years of software development experience Strong technical foundation and breadth with experience architecting large-scale distributed systems In-depth, hands-on development experience building and optimizing across the software stack Proficiency programming in Golang, Java, Scala or Python. Rust is a big plus! Strong sense of ownership, initiative, problem solving and analysis Effective communicator and collaborator with the ability to work closely with ML Engineers Compensation $150,000 - $200,000 annual salary.
