Location: Shakopee, MN
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $30.00 per hour

Shift: 7 days on day shift, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off. All shifts are 12 hours, and drivers go home every night.

We are seeking a licensed CDL Driver to join a biomass energy production facility in Shakopee, Minnesota. This position is responsible for operating commercial vehicles to haul biomass fuels and other materials into and out of the plant. The role involves rotating shift work with varying schedules and works closely with plant operations personnel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Haul biomass fuels using plant-owned commercial vehicles and deliver materials to designated receiving and storage areas.
Operate and maintain trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
Report mechanical deficiencies and equipment issues to maintenance and management.
Follow all safety procedures and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Complete operational logs and documentation accurately.
Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and all applicable laws.
Communicate fuel inventory and equipment conditions to plant operations personnel.
Maintain accurate written and electronic records.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks as assigned.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret safety procedures, operating instructions, and technical documents.
Professionalism, integrity, and reliability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work rotating shifts, planned outages, unplanned shutdowns, and vacation coverage.
Ability to work in adverse weather conditions, at heights, and in confined spaces.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during 12-hour shifts.
Ability to bend, squat, climb ladders, and navigate stairs.
Ability to accept feedback and implement direction from management.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.

Preferred Experience:
Self-unloading trailers, tankers, and combination vehicles.
Fuel handling equipment, including conveyors and elevators.
Material handling, rigging, and lifting operations.
Preventative maintenance programs and systems.
Microsoft Excel.
Heavy equipment operation, including skid steers and wheel loaders.
