House Manager for High Profile Individual

We are seeking a highly capable, hands-on House Manager to oversee a private three-floor residence in Tribeca. This is an independent, detail-oriented role for someone who can keep a home running smoothly, manage vendors and projects, and anticipate needs with discretion. Responsibilities Maintain household organization and tidiness between twice-weekly cleanings Receive groceries, deliveries, and household items; manage unpacking and placement Coordinate, schedule, and oversee vendors, including plumbers, electricians, painters, HVAC technicians, and contractors Project-manage active household work, including a recording-studio renovation and smaller maintenance projects Source solutions and service providers as needed, using existing household vendor contacts and systems Assemble furniture, household items, and small equipment; troubleshoot day-to-day issues Track items moving in and out of the home and maintain organized systems Work collaboratively with the existing assistant while operating independently and taking full ownership of household operations Provide clear updates and flag issues promptly Requirements Experienced managing a high-end private residence Proactive, resourceful, organized, and calm under pressure Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight Hands-on and willing to pitch in with practical household tasks Strong vendor-management and project-management skills Excellent judgment, discretion, and respect for privacy Able to manage competing priorities and prevent duplicate purchases or missed details across a wider support team Compensation $120,000-$140,000 DOE Schedule Full-time role Primarily hybrid 2-3 days onsite Pocketbook Agency is acting solely as a recruiting and placement firm for this position and is not the employer of record for this role unless otherwise explicitly stated.
