Second Shift Production Supervisor

Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Pay: Approximately $35/hour, DOE
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM; Friday, 4:00 PM–1:30 AM; Saturdays as needed, 4:00 PM–9:00 PM

Status: Full-Time | Hourly | Overtime Required

Abundant Solutions is currently hiring an experienced Second Shift Production Supervisor for a well-established manufacturing company in Broken Arrow, OK. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing leader with experience in fabrication, welding, mechanical assembly, or a similar industrial production environment.

The Production Supervisor will oversee daily shop-floor operations, lead production employees, maintain safety and quality standards, and ensure production goals and schedules are met.

Responsibilities

Supervise and provide daily direction to welders, fabricators, painters, and general production personnel
Assign work, adjust priorities, and ensure production schedules are completed accurately and on time
Lead pre-shift meetings and promote a strong safety-first culture
Monitor production performance, including output, scrap, rework, and labor utilization
Train and cross-train employees to improve team flexibility and performance
Coach employees, provide performance feedback, and maintain accountability
Work closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality to address production issues and reduce downtime
Support equipment reliability, inventory accuracy, and proper scrap procedures
Identify and resolve shop-floor problems using root-cause analysis
Support Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and environmental procedures

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in manufacturing, fabrication, welding, mechanical assembly, or a related industrial environment
2+ years of supervisory, lead, or team-lead experience
Strong understanding of manufacturing safety, production, and quality processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production documentation
Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to make decisions and maintain production priorities in a fast-paced shop environment
Must be comfortable working directly on the production floor and leading employees hands-on
Must be able to work required second-shift hours and overtime

Preferred Experience

ASME pressure vessel, HVAC equipment, or heavy metal fabrication experience
Lean manufacturing and/or 5S experience
Forklift or powered industrial truck experience
ERP system experience
Microsoft Excel experience
