Maintenance TechnicianMaintenance Technician position available in the Saginaw, Michigan area working at our client location who is a leading industrial organization.This is a direct hire opportunity on 2nd shift. Shift time is 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Pay range is $27.00-$30.00 an hour with an opportunity for growth.Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician Include:Coordinate maintenance schedules, priorities, and preventive maintenance programsTroubleshoot, repair, and rebuild mechanical systems and equipmentRespond to equipment alarms and emergency breakdownsMaintain maintenance inventory, supplies, and daily documentationPerform startup, shutdown, and recovery of heat treat furnaces and ovensEnsure safe operation and resolve equipment issues (e.g., jammed doors, system faults)Read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagramsMaintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areasSupport heat treat operations and work on-call or varied shifts as neededSkills & Knowledge:Strong mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skillsKnowledge of motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, combustion systems, and power transmissionBasic welding, fabrication, and plumbing abilitiesUnderstanding of OSHA regulations and proper PPE useAbility to read technical instructions and schematicsGood math, communication, and organizational skillsCapable working in confined spaces and at heightsQualifications for the Maintenance Technician:High school diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experienceAbility to lift up to 40 lbsForklift operation capability (or willingness to obtain certification)Flexibility to work varied shifts and on-call as neededTrillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
