Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist provides outpatient rehabilitation services focused on orthopedic, sports, and work-related injuries. This role involves conducting 1-hour evaluations and delivering 45-minute daily treatments to a diverse patient population. The Physical Therapist collaborates closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care aimed at helping patients achieve optimal functional outcomes. Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive 1-hour patient evaluations to assess physical therapy needs.
• Provide 45-minute daily treatment sessions tailored to individual patient conditions.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, family practice providers, and acute care teams for patient referrals and coordinated care.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and timely.
• Assist patients in returning to valued activities and lifestyles through effective rehabilitation strategies.

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred.
• Experience with outpatient orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and work-related injuries.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Prior experience working in a small community or regional healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for diverse patient populations.

• Temporary traveler assignment following staff retirement.
• Work is outpatient only.
• Collaborative team environment with multiple therapy disciplines.

• 36 40 hours per week with a guaranteed 36-hour minimum.
• Standard schedule 8:00 AM 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch break from 1:00 2:00 PM.
• Schedule may be adjusted to 9:00 AM 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM 4:00 PM for a 36-hour workweek.
