Electrical Estimator / Senior Electrical Estimator

Location:  Charlotte, NC

Job Description:

We are seeking an Electrical Estimator or Senior Electrical Estimator on behalf of our client, one of the largest and best electrical contractors in Charlotte. The Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This role involves reviewing project specifications, plans, and other documentation to determine the scope of work and required materials, labor, and equipment. The Electrical Estimator will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that estimates are comprehensive and reflect the project's requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to review and evaluate subcontractors' and vendors' bids, proposals, and Bills of Materials.
• Knowledgeable with construction documents, including the ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Basic understanding of the construction process.
• Knowledge of MS Office Programs and general computer knowledge.
• Ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Preferred Education and Qualifications

• Education: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, Business Management, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Five (5) years of operational experience in estimating, with at least two (2) years of electrical trade experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
