Program Coordinator - Children's Justice

Job Overview The Iowa Judicial Branch, Children’s Justice in State Court Administration, is seeking a Program Coordinator to support Children’s Justice programs in District 4. The domicile will be located within District 4 and will be decided by the supervisor. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the day‑to‑day operations of the Family Treatment Court and similar programs in Judicial District 4. Support the implementation of a Family Resiliency Center in Council Bluffs. Manage referrals, intake, and orientation with families and serve as the first line of communication between families and the court team. Collect and maintain accurate case data; serve as liaison among families, treatment teams, and community service providers. Support program improvement through data analysis, compliance reporting, and training opportunities. Attend court hearings, community events, and coordinator meetings in person or virtually, including occasional evening, weekend, or travel meetings. Maintain case management systems and program‑specific technology to keep current and accurate records. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in social work or related human services field (preferred). Two (2) years of experience in child welfare, mental health, healthcare, family services, or court/legal system (preferred). Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and online meeting programs. Organizational and scheduling skills; ability to manage tasks within prescribed budgets. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within and outside District 4. Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary: $21.42 – $33.86 per hour (contract‑covered, FLSA non‑exempt).
