Registered Nurse, PRN, Outpatient

Overview Description: Cardinal Points Imaging of the Carolinas is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our patient-focused team. Position Status: PRN Schedule: Weekdays and Weekend coverage as needed. Location: Covering all 5 CPIC locations in Brier Creek, Cary, Clayton, Midtown and Wake Forest. JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Clinical Manager and Director, the Registered Nurse: Is a highly skilled clinician utilizing an interdisciplinary approach to patient care service delivery. Manages care at a highly developed skill level in collaboration with patients, their families, physicians, and other members of the health care team. Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements. Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice. Education : Graduate of an accredited RN program. License/Certification Requirements : Must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire. ACLS certification may be required. Skills/Abilities : Ability to work independently and multitask. Ability to provide documentation accurately and concisely. Ability to manage medical emergencies and contrast reactions under the direction of a licensed independent practitioner. Knowledge of computer applications, including information and billing systems, keyboard input, digital archiving, and retrieving of data.
