Job Overview Project Manager for Day & Zimmermann Maintenance and Construction (DZMC) in Baxley, GA. Leads day‑to‑day project execution to meet safety, financial, operational, and customer goals, while driving the company culture, accountability, and continuous improvement. Location Baxley, GA Responsibilities Manage all project aspects: scope, schedule, planning, budget, documentation, and reporting. Serve as primary point of contact and communicate project status to internal and external stakeholders. Lead the project team, coordinate allocation of resources, and ensure staffing needs are met through coordination with PMO and functional leaders. Own the site safety program: implement the safety plan, lead safety culture, evaluate effectiveness, and execute risk management plans. Maintain the project risk register, identify risks, and work with the commercial team to manage change orders and contractual changes. Partner with functional areas, resolve conflicts, and promote best practices and process improvements. Skills and Qualifications Working knowledge of change order management. Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to produce solutions and strategies. Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain relationships with stakeholders. Influence and persuade to achieve desired actions. Outstanding organizational skills with time management, delegation, planning, goal setting, and decision making. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 10+ years of successful EPC project management experience. PMP certification preferred.
