We also offer a $500-$1000 annual tool reimbursement program, $200 annual boot reimbursement, FREE uniforms, nationwide FREE park access and parking for yourself and a guest, season passes for family, annual complimentary park tickets for friends and family, discounts for food and merchandise, access to exclusive employee only events and more!Responsibilities:As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing park infrastructure by ensuring all wooden structures, facilities, and components are safe, functional, and visually appealing. Your work will directly support ride safety, operational readiness, and overall park presentation.HOW YOU WILL DO IT:Perform ongoing repair, maintenance, and inspection of wooden roller coasters, including daily safety inspectionsInstall and repair catwalks, fencing, queue lines, woodwork, and associated hardware for rides and attractionsRemodel offices, buildings, and park facilities, including framing, cabinetry, shelving, doors, flooring, carpeting, and hardware installationDesign and fabricate special‑purpose furniture, cabinets, and fixtures based on plans or general specificationsCut and install glass, countertops, ceramic tile, and related finishing materialsPerform general building repairs, including patching, winterizing, roofing, and gutter maintenancePour and finish concrete as requiredHang and repair drop ceilingsConduct pre‑opening ride and facility safety checks and assist with equipment inspections across the parkSafely operate a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipmentRespond to radio calls and maintenance requests in a timely mannerPerform additional duties as assigned by the Carpentry Shop or Maintenance LeadershipQualifications:Minimum of 5 years of professional carpentry experience preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalentValid State Driver’s License and must be at least 18 years of ageAbility and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, sun, cold, rain)Ability to work at heights up to 200 feetStrong working knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and safety practicesAbility to maintain written maintenance and inspection recordsOwn basic hand tools required for the tradeStrong teamwork skills, reliability, and a positive, safety‑focused attitudeWillingness and availability to work varying shifts, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and overtime as neededOTHER NOTES:Perform all other duties as assigned or necessary to support park operations as a wholeReports directly to Maintenance Leadership
