Job Details Night shift position working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Every other weekend required Every other holiday required On-call requirement exists if census is low, placed in rotation - rare cancellations Floating required inhouse to ED, UC, and PACU as needed, as well as interfacility to Park Falls and Weston ICU experience with pediatric experience strongly preferred Must be able to titrate drips including Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, PCA Fentanyl, Propofol, and Norepinephrine Must be able to read rhythm strips and report findings to providers as needed; telemetry monitored remotely by tele techs Tele monitors are GE ApexPro CH RT support available 24/7 with equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, Vapotherm, Servo U ventilators, and Hamilton ventilators Nurse-to-patient ratios: MS 1:5 days / 1:6 nights, IMC 1:4, ICU 1:2, Peds 1:3-4 CNA support available on unit Charting system: Cerner Navy scrubs required for RNs Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) 1-2 days of on-shift orientation plus 1 day of computer-based training and hospital orientation Must clock in and out at the facility Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local Facility This acute care facility operates a combined MS/ICU/IMC unit with 20 beds, providing comprehensive inpatient care across medical-surgical, intermediate care, and intensive care settings. The facility serves a diverse patient population including cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, orthopedic, GI, GU, pediatric, and sepsis cases. The organization operates at a Level 4 trauma designation and maintains 24/7 respiratory therapy support to ensure high-quality patient care.
