Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit setting during night shift hours.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to document and manage patient information accurately.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required.
• Active Iowa State RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required.
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with heparin drip administration preferred.
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
