Merit Medical seeks an Operations Associate I to perform medical device assembly, order picking, and product boxing on a day shift. The role involves rotating assembly tasks, quality inspections, and shipping preparation in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble medical devices on production lines, rotating through various assembly tasks
- Perform in-process and visual quality inspections to verify product specifications
- Pick, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment with proper labeling
- Execute boxing and packaging procedures according to established standards
- Adhere to all safety protocols and manufacturing guidelines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to rotate through assembly line positions and meet line rate expectations
- Visual discrimination skills to distinguish medical products by appearance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in repetitive task execution
- Basic math knowledge applicable to work situations
- Demonstrated dependability and reliable attendance
- Fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination for assembly work
