Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift travel position requiring 2+ years of experience and IN or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Med/Surg unit (Unit/Floor 1) in a hospital setting
• 37-bed unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Fast-paced environment optimizing post-surgical patients per surgeon preference with established order sets and protocols
• Night shift 7P-7A with no on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Block scheduling not available
• Cerner EMR preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2 years of recent experience in Med/Surg required
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• Driver's license and SSN required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide tele monitoring and post-surgical nursing care within a collaborative team atmosphere
• Black and royal blue scrubs required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week in duration
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
