About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Global Market Engagement to lead its Impact Lab in driving real change in the market. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's global network, with a focus on decarbonization, resilience, health, and housing. This role requires a deep understanding of the real estate industry, including the decision-making processes of owners, investors, developers, and operators. The VP will be responsible for leading the company's market engagement strategy, owning the global network's strategy, member value proposition, and financial performance. They will also be tasked with integrating and growing communities of practice across various issue areas and coordinating with the corporate partners' team to ensure a cohesive market engagement approach. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in commercial real estate or a related industry, with a proven track record of leadership and the ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives. The role demands a leader who can set and execute a global strategy, while also being sensitive to local market needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in business development, membership strategy, and a strong background in financial management. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree in a relevant field. The role is highly dynamic, involving travel and the ability to work across global time zones, and the candidate should be prepared for the demands of a senior leadership position within the company.
