Role Specific Responsibilities

Evaluate patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Provide clear explanations and instructions to patients and/or their families regarding respiratory disease processes, intervention procedures, and discharge instructions, ensuring their understanding.
Accept reassignment to other units as required.
Share clinical knowledge with staff and students, serving as a role model for best practices in clinical care.
Plan, implement, and assess the effectiveness of respiratory care initiatives.
Administer respiratory care as prescribed by physicians while maintaining open communication with medical and nursing staff.

Education

Associate's degree is required.
