Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position in New Mexico, requiring at least 3 years of experience and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.

Details

• LDRP unit setting within a hospital environment
• Patients include laboring mothers as well as stable and sick newborns requiring stabilization
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• STABLE certification preferred
• OPS certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience in Labor & Delivery required
• Ability to care for OB patients and provide stabilization of sick infants
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

• Responsibilities include full LDRP care, including obstetric nursing and management of stable and sick newborn infants
