Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical RN – Alabama

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Alabama

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Nights, 3x12 or 4x12 shifts (traveler preference), block scheduling available. Weekend coverage required. Patient ratio up to 1:6-7.

Requirements:

• Active Alabama RN license or valid Compact license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Proficiency in critical drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone
• Experience with telemetry monitoring
• Skills in accessing and managing ports, chemotherapy administration and monitoring preferred
• Experience working in large healthcare facilities
• Must reside at least 90 miles from the facility location
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered); flu vaccination required (no exemptions)

Additional Information:

Pre-start educational modules are required prior to assignment start date. Candidates must confirm acceptance of all assignment details including rate, shift, location, and housing arrangements prior to offer. Former permanent staff must have separated at least 10 years prior to be eligible. After completing 2 consecutive contracts, a 6-month break is required before returning to this facility.
