Role Overview:

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists to support the preparation, distribution, and documentation of medications. This role is essential to maintaining safe and efficient pharmacy operations while helping patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, label, and package medications per physician orders and pharmacist direction
Deliver medications to hospital units and maintain inventory accuracy
Document transactions and support the patient charging system
Operate within defined pharmacy technician scope of practice
Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes
Promote teamwork and communicate effectively with clinical staff
Demonstrate commitment to safety, accuracy, and customer service

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED Required
Certified Pharmacy Technician credential Required
13 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare pharmacy Preferred
