In addition to base pay, our team members also receive tips averaging approximately $4.00 per hour. Although tips can vary and are not guaranteed, our amazing customers regularly reward our team with generous gratuities for the great service and Buzz Life energy we bring every day. Actual amounts may differ based on location, hours worked, quality of service, and customer discretion. Average tips reflect 2024 reporting.ResponsibilitiesDeliver the Better Buzz experience through fast, friendly, and genuine serviceBe knowledgeable about our coffee, tea, food, and specialty drinksPrepare and serve beverages and food consistently following recipe standardsWork all café positions — our baristas are cross-trained and adaptable – including working in our kitchens to make food to orderKeep our spaces clean, safe – always ready for guests and teammatesProduces proper drink and food items to standard recipe specificationsStock all necessary ingredients in accordance with each station's needsFollows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products and areasQualifications1+ year experience in coffee, food service, or hospitality preferredPassion for great coffee and exceptional guest serviceStrong communicator with a positive, solution-oriented attitudeReliable, punctual, and available for nights, weekends and holidays and able to work 22 hours each weekComfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentAbout Better Buzz:Founded in 2002 by two college students with a dream and a coffee cart, Better Buzz has grown into a thriving community with locations across California, Nevada, and Arizona.
