MIG/TIG Welder

General Job Summary:In addition to performing all phases of the MIG/TIG weld function, sets-up machinery, tools and parts for jobcompletion.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Refers to production Manufacturing Process Control Document (MPCD) for job specifics. Sets up and runs jobs as required. Resolves problems with job as required. Assists in the resolution of production, quality, and engineering issues. Ensures machines are maintained per safety and quality standards. Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/ manager.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneEducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); Experience2-3 years related experience or trainingOne year certificate from college or technical schoolpreferred or equivalent combination of education andexperience.Computer Skills:NoneOther Requirements:Understanding and ability to use quality inspection equipment (calipers, height stand, protractor). Strongproblem-solving skills. MIG/TIG Welding certification preferred. Ability to wear a respirator, as required.
