Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an ER patient population according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; respond to emergencies with appropriate critical thinking and clinical judgment.
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and intervene in deteriorating conditions as part of the emergency response.
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and other disciplines; supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff as needed.
- Document care accurately in the patient record and ensure compliance with policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license or eligibility for licensure by endorsement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment and manage 12-hour night shifts.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and provide supervision as assigned.
- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and complete credentialing and orientation processes as required.
