Senior Bridge Inspector — Knoxville, TNTTL is seeking a Senior Bridge Inspector to join our team in Knoxville, TN. This role will be responsible for supporting bridge and roadway construction inspection, materials sampling, inspection and testing on projects throughout Georgia. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience working on DOT projects and experience managing CEI projects and supervising inspectors.Build your Foundation. Build your Future. Build your Legacy.Come to TTL.What You'll DoMonitor, inspect and document daily construction activities to verify compliance with project plans and quality standardsAdhere to established inspection procedures, perform accurate calculations and maintain effective working relationships with project teams, clients and contractorsConduct inspections of grading asphalt paving, concrete placement, utility inspection, subgrade materials and other roadway and bridge construction activitiesDocument findings and contribute to creating detailed inspection reportsReview inspection data and reports to ensure accuracyRequirementsMinimum high school diploma required.10+ years of experience providing construction engineering inspection servicesAbility to communicate professionally orally and in writingValid drivers license and good driving recordProficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft ExcelProficient in AWPPossess sufficient stamina to work in outdoor (hot & cold) environmentPossess the ability to lift and/or carry 30+ lbs on varying terrainsRequired Certifications10 Hour OSHA Construction SafetyTDOT HMA Certified Roadway TechnicianTDOT Certified Concrete Technician or ACI Grade 1Preferred CertificationsTDOT Asphalt Plant TechnicianTDOT Hazardous Materials or APGNA Nuclear Gauge Safety or equivalent*TDOT Soils and Aggregate Technician or equivalent**Can be obtained once employed at TTLJob Type: Full-timeThis position is subject to a pre-employment drug and motor vehicle record checkTTL is an EEO/AAP employer
