Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Unknown Hours per Shift: 36 hours, day/night rotating Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: 1+ years level one experience required Must-Have: 1+ years travel experience required Description: This is a twenty-seven-bed adult inpatient unit. The unit serves patients from culturally diverse backgrounds and geographic areas. Patients are admitted with acute and complex medical problems. They are generally admitted from the Emergency Department or as a transfer from intensive care units. The clinician to patient ratio is 3-4 during days and 4-5 during nights. The charting system used is EPIC. Floating may be required, but it is rare.
