Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive telemetry nursing care to patients, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based interventions. Oversees and coordinates the activities of nursing staff, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote patient safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions by collecting and analyzing relevant clinical data.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes.
• Coordinate and supervise nursing activities, delegating tasks appropriately to team members.
• Educate patients and families on health management, discharge instructions, and treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting care strategies to ensure safety and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate seamless, patient-centered care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.
• Possess at least two years of recent telemetry nursing experience.
• Maintain current BLS certification from an approved vendor.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic health record systems.
• Able to float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed.
• Possess strong critical thinking, communication, and supervisory skills.
