Warehouse Associate, NY

Warehouse PositionGrowing logistics company currently seeking experienced, highly motivated individual to work in the warehouse in its new Buffalo facility.Candidates should be self-starters, punctual, motivated/driven, attention to detail, and have the ability to work in a fast paced warehouse environment. This position requires standing for long periods of time. Positions may also require repetitive bending, reaching, heavy lifting, and pushing/pulling of pallets of stock with pallet jacks. Some overtime may be required.Records and verifies shipment data for incoming or outgoing items.Use of RF scanning systems.Examines contents of incoming shipments for damage, shortages, or other discrepancies.Operates equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies, to deliver or route materials to departments and reorganize storage.Participates in routing, counting and inspecting items while loading and unloading trucks; delivers and returns items.Utilizes computerized or automated systems to accomplish tasks.Other duties as assigned.Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent.Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to work independently.No experience necessary.
