HVAC Service Technician

Job Overview Evaluate HVAC systems, water heaters, fireplaces and other equipment to assess their condition and identify and perform any necessary repairs or preventive maintenance. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and service all HVAC products on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction Review diagnostics and use the proper tools to complete repairs Perform proper preventative maintenance as needed Respond to emergency maintenance requests Provide final inspection of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safely Foster good customer relations by explaining the service work performed, providing technical support and making sure they are happy with the job that has been done Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity Requirements 2-4 years of on the job HVAC service experience Strong understanding of HVAC systems and how to repair/maintain them Solid experience with hand and power tools, as well as an overall mechanical aptitude Ability to read and understand wiring diagram and system literature Must be able to work well independently and in a team Must be able to be on-call within our on-call rotation Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, in speech and writing with customers and our team Valid driver’s license required Benefits Medical Insurance & HSA 401(k) with company match up to 4% Paid Time Off / 6 Paid Holidays Company Paid LTD and Life Insurance On call bonus Sales spiffs Vacation reimbursement Pay is dependent on experience and ranges from $25 - $40/hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr
