This high-acuity tertiary care facility maintains full procedural capability and operates as part of a large hospital system in Oklahoma. The facility is structured to ensure continuity of specialized gastroenterology care for an adult inpatient population. Clinical infrastructure and established protocols are in place to support locum tenens coverage beginning in September on an ongoing basis.

Oklahoma City is situated at the intersection of I-35 and I-40, providing accessible travel from cities such as Tulsa (106 miles), Dallas (206 miles), and Kansas City (350 miles). Clinicians on assignment will find a range of local attractions, including the Oklahoma City Zoo, Paycom Center, Frontier City, and Scissortail Park. The Bricktown district offers a canal boat tour and the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, alongside local dining and cultural landmarks throughout the city.

The gastroenterologist will provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage on a day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at this on-site facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with coverage structured at 2 weeks per month beginning in September on an ongoing basis. Clinical responsibilities include managing an average daily census of 20-30 patients, handling 7-10 new consults per day, and performing 6-12 procedures daily, with fewer than 20 patients considered a low-volume day. Clinicians will work alongside 2 APPs in accordance with established facility protocols. No call coverage is required, and board certification in Gastroenterology is required for consideration.
