Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures
• Prepare patients and procedure rooms for endoscopy cases
• Administer medications and monitor patient sedation and recovery
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures and recovery instructions

Requirements

• Active RN License in California
• Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS Certifications required
• Moderate sedation experience preferred
• Strong patient assessment and procedural care skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced procedural environments
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
