Registered Nurse - SRI - IP Nursing - Per Diem Nights

About This Role The Registered Nurse in this per diem night position is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. Highlights Location: Brick, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Per Diem, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop a patient-centered plan of care with specific goals/outcomes. Communicate and coordinate the plan of care with the healthcare team. Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner. Provide or coordinate patient/family education and ensure understanding. Document patient assessments, plan-of-care, interventions, and evaluations. Administer medications utilizing bar-scanning and documentation technologies. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience: Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey. BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire. National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.
