Project Manager - Electrical

Position Summary Lynk Engineers is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead the planning, design, coordination, and execution of electrical engineering projects across commercial, healthcare, education, civic, hospitality, industrial, and mission‑critical markets. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing project teams, maintaining project budgets and schedules, and ensuring the successful delivery of high‑quality engineering solutions. Location: Salt Lake City, Utah. Essential Responsibilities Manage electrical engineering projects from concept through construction completion Lead project planning, scheduling, staffing, budgeting, and client communication Oversee the design and coordination of electrical systems, including: Power distribution systems Lighting and lighting controls Emergency power systems Low voltage coordination Fire alarm systems Sustainable and energy‑efficient system solutions Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including architectural, structural, mechanical, technology, and contractor partners Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal teams Review engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and construction documents Monitor project scope, budgets, schedules, and deliverable quality Support proposal development, business development, and client relationship management Participate in construction administration activities including submittal reviews, RFIs, field observations, and project meetings Mentor and support engineers, designers, BIM modelers, and project staff Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company quality expectations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure 6+ years of electrical engineering experience preferred Previous project management experience within the AEC industry preferred Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD preferred Strong understanding of electrical building systems and construction documentation Familiarity with NEC, energy codes, and industry standards Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Preferred Experience Commercial and institutional building design Healthcare or mission‑critical facilities Lighting and lighting controls Emergency power and generator systems BIM coordination and multidisciplinary project delivery Construction administration and field coordination Client development and project financial management Desired Characteristics Strong leadership and project management abilities Client‑focused mindset Detail‑oriented and organized Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Collaborative and team‑oriented approach Strong problem‑solving and communication skills Desire to mentor and develop team members Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily office‑based with periodic travel to project sites and client meetings Ability to work at a computer for extended periods Occasional field visits to active construction sites may be required #J-18808-Ljbffr Lynk Engineers
