The Dimock Center is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our team in providing high-quality, patient-centered primary care to our diverse urban community.

This is a unique opportunity for a mission-driven, collaborative physician interested in building a practice that reflects their individual training and clinical interests. The role offers flexibility to practice across adult primary care, pediatrics, and reproductive and women ’ s health , with the specific clinical mix tailored to the interests and expertise of the successful candidate.

Whether your interests include caring for patients across the lifespan, focusing primarily on adults and adolescents, incorporating pediatric care, or maintaining a strong reproductive health component within your practice, we are interested in developing a role that makes the best use of your skills.

Dimock provides a broad range of integrated health services, including adult and pediatric primary care, behavioral health, obstetrics and gynecology, dental care, and eye care. Our multidisciplinary model allows physicians to care for the whole patient while working closely with colleagues across medical and behavioral health disciplines.

Role Overview

The Family Medicine Physician will manage a primary care panel and provide comprehensive care with the collaboration and support of an integrated team that includes physicians, advanced practice providers, behavioral health clinicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other clinical professionals.

The scope of practice can be individualized based on the physician ’ s interests and experience , with opportunities to provide care in adult medicine, pediatrics, and reproductive and women’s health. Physicians are not expected to practice in all three areas .

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care, integrating preventive, chronic disease, and acute care.
• Develop a clinical practice that may include adult medicine, pediatrics, and/or reproductive and women ’ s health , depending on individual interests and experience.
• Manage and follow up on diagnostic studies, hospital and emergency department transitions, and specialty referrals with team support.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and thorough documentation in the electronic health record.
• Participate in and contribute to quality improvement, population health, and clinic-based initiatives.
• Identify and lead projects aligned with individual clinical interests and opportunities to improve patient and community health.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care and address patients’ medical, behavioral, and social needs.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring opportunities within The Dimock Center and through our academic training partnerships.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency.
• Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
• Current or eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure.
• DEA registration and Massachusetts controlled substance registration, as applicable.
• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Experience or interest in community health and caring for diverse patient populations strongly encouraged.

Compensation

$200,000–$250,000 per year, plus benefits
