IT Systems Analyst

Systems Admin Possesses fundamental understanding of basic software/systems analysis, design, and performance principles. Discusses technical issues competently with team members and develops technical recommendations based on options presented. Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures, and makes sound decisions. Essential Job Functions & Tasks: Participates in analysis/design assignments using specifications assigned by higher-level employees. Analyzes system requirements and be able to implement, configure and test applications. Assists with the efficient and reliable operation of small production applications. Develops a good understanding of the business or function for which the application is designed. Assists in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems impacting the applications performance. Participates in preparing detailed specifications based on analysis of problems. Participate in system and disaster recovery testing to ensure technical requirements are met. Minimum Requirements: Education requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field OR Associate's degree with 2 years system analyst related experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 years system analyst related experience Work Experience: Minimum of 4 years system analyst related experience (in addition to any experience identified in education section) Additional Requirements: Must have experience with API's.
