Warehouse/Driver - Full-Time | Kearney, NE | $19.00/hr

This unique position combines warehouse responsibilities, equipment operation and local travel to assist with cemetery services throughout Nebraska. Location: Kearney, NE
Pay: $19.00/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays and a few Sundays throughout the year. Base hours are 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, but end times vary depending on funeral services and may extend until 5:00-6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Build and prepare concrete burial vaults.
• Operate a forklift to move and load vaults.
• Paint and maintain burial vaults.
• Load vaults onto trucks and trailers for transport.
• Drive to cemeteries throughout Nebraska.
• Set up burial vaults, cable and pulley systems, tents and chairs before services.
• Remain on-site during funeral services and tear down equipment afterward.
• Perform general warehouse duties and assist with light mechanical work as needed.
• Work safely in both indoor and outdoor environments in all types of weather.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Forklift experience is helpful but training may be provided.
• Mechanically inclined is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.
• Comfortable working outdoors and traveling to various cemetery locations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, load, and move heavy materials.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb and perform physical labor throughout the day.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
