You will lead a team responsible for conducting enhanced due diligence on high-risk customers and transactions, ensuring adherence to Coinbase's compliance standards. Your expertise will drive operational excellence and contribute to the company's mission of making cryptocurrency accessible to everyone.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Compliance, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in AML compliance, EDD, or related areas. Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing teams and driving operational excellence. Strong knowledge of financial laws, regulations, and guidelines (e.g., BSA, OFAC, FinCEN guidance). Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Compensation: $117,000 + $11,000 Bonus + $50,000 equity in the company Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
